Father to Jacob Faust,
the husband of Calista Dracul, Malachi is an important figure in both the land of tir na noc and Chaotic Idiots. He's a political figure and part of the fey council that runs the town of Novak. He often is at the center of debates in regards to expansion of Novak's resources, including funding for Novak's school system. He's often swamped with files of complaints and other grievances, though in what little spare time he has, Malachi can oft be found reading various books and keeping his mind sharp. 

Diplomacy over Fighting: In his heart Malachi would rather fight with words and a quill over swords and magic, he is a pacifist by nature. Although drafted into the war for TirNaNoc at the age of twenty-one, Malachi often found himself engaging with noble men and ladies in the politcal court of the fey. As he aged and matured, Malachi became hardened by difficult circumstances and while stricken by fear in the face of battle, however, when it comes to family, Malachi will give his all to protect his loved ones.

Weathered and Worn (Lovingly protective): Although he perfers the company of books and would rather fight with his vocabulary, Malachi is a layered and complicated individual. He has a warrior's heart and a gentle wisdom.
although weathered, seasoned, and tired from the difficulties of his younger years, Malachi is still loving. in particular he is protective of Jacob and often finds himself worried over Jacob's wellbeing and safety. Although it does not often show, Malachi has a playful side, of which both Jacob and Calista tend to bring out in him in times of joy.
