Why Mozart?
From the ashes of grief to a story about love everlasting
A question none too familiar by this point, head creative faith jacobs is used to, and yet the answer isn't what one might expect. In the midst of facing grief and an outlook on life that was less than optomistic, Faith, having put down her own quill in 2022, decided the world of creative pursuits were too much when loss struck her beyond the spotlight of what seemed to be rising success. Following a converstation with a fellow colleague, Faith was encouraged to watch Amadeus by Peter Schaffer, adapted to film in 1982, starring the famed F. Murry Abrahams and Tom Hulce, her life was forever changed, she fell in love with Mozart's history and upon wondering, "Who is Constanze?" Found herself wandering into three years of immense research, culminating into the story that has become Faithfully yours. From the ashes of grief and loss, was born a story of love that overcame waves of strife and left an indelible mark upon Faith's heart.
Why Mozart?
You may laugh, and sneer, and jeer,
you may say "it all leads back to Mozart"
but when the world was grey and melancholy, it was Mozart that saved her and opened doors to possibilities yet unseen.
Faithfully yours wouldn't at least partially exist without Stephen Haggard's portrayal of Wolfgang alongside Victoria hopper as Constanze, from the 1930's film "Whom the Gods Love". Inspiring the sweetness of an approachable and endearing take on Mozart's relationship to Constanze was one of many films, that Faith considers to be the best amongst the older Mozart movies.
