Neurodivergent voices matter in the world of the arts. Our Neurodiversity is diversity and it’s time we lifted our voices in this field because we are capable as such. Join me, Faith Jacobs, Autistic writer, author, actress, and indie Audio-drama director, as I speak with colleagues, peers, and others on the world of acting, representation and beyond through our own unique Neurodiverse voices.
My Previous Guests:

As featured: Guy Slocombe, Ross K. Foad, Jessica Scott-Whyte, Elliott Wooster, Darien H. Thompson, Aaron Relf, Jack Moorby, And Jordan O'Neal

Interviewing a Real Mr. Haggard: is a unique episode amongst my interviews (though there are some errors due to connectivity problems), the man standing beside me is Professor Haggard, the only sole surviving son of 1930's actor, poet, author, and WW2 soldier, Stephen Haggard. I was blessed to meet Professor Haggard in London in 2024 and to have him on my show as a guest. We experienced some technical hurdles so, the episode isn't perfect by any means, but I was most grateful to speak to him about his life and about his father, whom I was also quite privileged to be afforded the chance to write a stage play about and one of which Professor Haggard both wrote the foreword for and approved of, saying, "you have managed to capture the spirit of my father, well." And that, above all else, is the highest praise I believe I have ever received. It was an honor to speak with him and to have gained a friendship while working to craft a memorial of sorts for his father's legacy.

CoffeeBreak: A Retro-Spective Pod is a creative arts podcast dedicated to showcasing guests who are of marginalized identities such as autism, adhd, those who are LGBTQUIA+, and varying disability, and other forms of what the world would call differences. CoffeeBreak is a space for conversations about ableism, advocacy for those with disability in the creative world, and self-advocacy for better representation. There is room on this podcast for authors or non authors, as much as there are or the actors who have been interviewed, and while it is for the neurodiverse, those who are part of the LGBTQUIA+ community are allowed as well, and those without disabilities are welcome too. But please be aware that this podcast is a creative arts podcast. Please read on below to what is not allowed on this podcast.

WHAT IS NOT ALLOWED COFFEEBREAK A RETROSPECTIVE POD?
While the podcast, CoffeeBreak prides itself on being open to anyone from any walk of life, that doesn't mean just any story. CoffeeBreak, while not afraid to tackle the tough questions of being a disabled advocate or being LGBTQUIA+, CoffeeBreak is not a place for disturbing and unsettling stories and experiences. This is a creative arts podcast, not a podcast about your so called six million figures and why you're an elistist bro, not a podcast about your morbid job, not a podcast about your freaky experiences with weird ideas about pets, not your weird spiritual bull crud, etc.
Please do not apply to be a guest if you're looking for a space to share your trauma or a journey a kin to this. While it is recognized that we all go through tough situations, this is not the space for dark and uncomfortable subject matter nor is it the space for your otherworldly so called spiritual awakening and journeys. I'm sorry to say that while these don'ts are not personal, these are my boundaries of what I shall not accept on my podcast. You will not be chosen if these are the things you mention in the about section of your submission, any and all subject matter related to drugs, alcohol, morbid and dark experiences or experiences that border on grotesque, any talk of the use of drugs, intense mental health, or other subject matter that is not appropriate, will not be accepted and not a subject matter spoken about on the show. Thank you.
